Omaha’s Municipal Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, April 1, and polls will open at 8 AM CST. On the docket are not only the mayoral seat, but also seats on the city council.
Primary elections are our chance to put Godly men and women on our ballots in the general election this May, and it is a vital step to standing for our rights and morals in our own city.
Our staff at Lord of Hosts have worked tirelessly to investigate and examine the candidates for the upcoming primaries and have created a one-stop guidebook to help with the daunting task of researching your options.
This guidebook will not tell you who to vote for, but we hope that it will help you find out where candidates stand on important issues.
Some simple steps on how to get started:
- Print off your sample ballot by visiting your county election commission
website: https://www.votedouglascounty.com/ - Fill out your sample ballot using the voter guide (not every race listed will be on your ballot)
- Take your completed sample ballot with you to vote on Tuesday, April 1st
