You have been called for such a time as this!
LOH family, I want to remind you this week that God wants to use you! He wants to use you to lay hands on the sick; he wants to use you to pray for a coworker; he wants to use you to help lead a friend in the prayer of salvation. It’s important to remember that with the Holy Spirit, you have been given power to preach the gospel and cast out demons. The Lord has anointed you to be a bold ambassador for the Kingdom of Heaven.
There are many in this world who are hurting, confused, and searching for truth. We, as the Body of Christ, are called to be a light to a culture that has been deceived by the enemy. Your voice, your gifts, and your talents are to be used to glorify the Lord and help reach those who are lost. Don’t underestimate the power of the Holy Spirit, and His ability, to work through you to touch the lives of those around you.
In Luke 4:18-19, Jesus proclaimed, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
I encourage you to declare this same thing over yourself each day and watch how God begins to work through you to reach your family, your friends, your coworkers, and others in your sphere of influence. Now, more than ever, we need believers who are willing to stand up and speak out against perversion, and boldly defend biblical principles so that truth and light can be revealed to those in this world.
Remember, you have been anointed for such a time as this because God wants to use you! You have an important part to play in the Body of Christ. It’s time to step out in the power of the Holy Spirit and be a voice for Jesus!
