Hi, my name is Eddie, and I am the Music Director at Lord of Hosts Church.
Today, I want to encourage you from Matthew 9:37-38 (NKJV): “Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.’”
While Jesus and his disciples were ministering to people of various cities, he saw how great the need was for the gospel and the kingdom to be shared. However, He wanted his disciples to know that although much work would need to be done, there are few laborers present to help.
I want to encourage all of you out there laboring for the sake of the kingdom to do as Galatians 6:9 says, and not get weary in doing good. Realize that God does not leave us alone in the process of the harvest, but we can come to him in prayer when we need help.
This is my prayer for you today: “Right now, in the name of Jesus, I intercede for every laborer working and sacrificing for the sake of the kingdom of God. I declare that what you gain in working for the Lord will be over and above what you may have lost. I declare you have the persistence and perseverance to stay in the fight, and see the reward that God has for you. Amen!”
