Pastor Hank has been talking in recent weeks about “shift change.” In relation to this, we are told in Isaiah 42:9 (AMPC), “Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.” How exciting it is to be alive in such a time as this! As we are all believing for things to manifest in our lives so we can move on to the new, I want to encourage you that God is committed to caring for, loving, and watching over you.
The Bible tells us in Genesis 1:26 that you were created in God’s image; and in Jeremiah 1:5 that He knew you before He formed you in your mother’s womb. This means you have a personalized blueprint that came from our Father in Heaven. You can think of God as the original manufacturer of a unique product – you – and He designed you from Himself.
So, just remember that truth whenever you might begin to doubt that you have access to the One who made you! When you encounter times or situations that bring discouragement, don’t rely on the negative thoughts that might come into your mind, or the critical words people might say about you. Instead, trust in the Lord. You can rely on Him just as a child relies on his parents.
In Genesis 3, after God had made Adam and Eve, they followed the voice of another (Satan) who brought doubt and unbelief to them. God asked them this question: “Who told you were naked?” It wasn’t God’s original plan for them to know that, and it didn’t line up with His creative intent.
This is somewhat like a child coming home from school and saying, “I am dumb.” A parent’s reaction might be, “Who told you that? To whom have you been listening? I have known you since the beginning. Since you were born into this earth, I have loved you, protected you, encouraged you, and told you how smart you are, so where is this coming from?”
Just like a child comes to a parent in this way, you can come to the One who designed you when you are troubled or confused. If you buy something and a part is missing, or the item doesn’t work properly, you can go back to the original manufacturer to get answers. In the same way, if something isn’t working, or is missing in your life, you can go to your Creator for the solutions.
Today, many people are giving their DNA to various companies out of a hunger to discover who they are and where they came from. You don’t need to give your DNA to a company; just look to Heaven because the answers lie with the Creator of the Universe, the Creator of us all, our original manufacturer. Simply look up and connect with the one true Maker who is committed to caring for, loving, and watching over you, His creation. His Word will always place you back on track, back in line with His will for your life, and ready to shift into your change.
